PLANTS SAFETY HEATING
Geca presents a new range
of gas leaks detectors for „non-domestic” installation,
where technology, quality and completeness of the range
find their best marriage, and all these in industrial and
civil limits, overworking the best that present technology
can offer. Plants and probes of the new generation are needed
where it is essential to prevent and to control possible
gas leaks: joint ownership and community thermic plants,
industry, underground parkings and so on. To answer to different
installation requirements, there are a lot of possibilities
in making the detection plant: plants for 1, 2, 8, until
256 detection areas. Furthermore, there are also encase
plants, wall-mounted, according to DIN guide, onto the panel,
power supplied at 230, 12 or 24 V or to a plug. It is possible
to choose within the IP44, IP65 protection and explosion
proof, the microprocessor sensor for methane, LPG, carbon
monoxide or other industrial gas.

Central units to
recess for 3 remote sensors for methane and LPG
(CTP31)
Three LED bars indicate the gas concentration present
in the environment. The green LED indicates fresh
air; the first and the second red LEDs indicate
pollution; the third and the fourth red LEDs indicate
the alarm and shut down relay activation. The shut
down operation remains stored, therefore the instrument
is provided with a RESET button. A TEST button checks
both normal operation and the alarm system. These
detectors use catalytic remote sensors mod. ST441
for methane and LPG.
Power supply: 230 Vac/8 VA or 12 Vdc/4,5 W –
protection class: IP44. First relay intervention:
10% LEL. Second relay intervention: 20% LEL. Contacts

Remote unit sensor
– IP44 (ST 441)
ST441 for methane and LPG to be mounted with central
units CTM, CTR, CTP. The ST 441 models are a three-wire
4÷20 mA linear sensors able to detect combustion
gas employing a catalytic sensor calibrated up to
20% LEL to different gases. The instrument consists
of a thermoplastic terminal box which contains the
electronic circuit, the connecting terminals and
the sensor placed in its housing on the cover. The
ST441 are normally connected to the GECA gas detecting
central systems for heating plants.
Power supply: by central unit. Output: 4÷20
mA. Protection class: IP44. Sizes: 110 × 75
× 75 mm.
Gas leaks detector
with relay control (SE 137)
On the front panel 4 LEDs show the working conditions.
The SE 137K find its best application in centralized
alarm systems for parkings, industry. The SE 137K
model is a flammable gas detector with catalytic
sensor. The instrument consists of a plastic enclosure
which contains the electronic circuit and the connecting
terminals; the lower part is a cylindrical section
housing the sensor. This dual level gas detector
has two alarm thresholds set to 10% and 20% LEL.
Power supply: 12÷24 Vdc (-10/ +15%). Absorbtion:
2 W. Contacts rating: 230 Vac – 3 A exchange
contacts normally shunt wound. Protection class:
IP65. Installation: onto the wall. Sizes: 195 ×
105 × 85 mm.
