Central units with a single detector (CIM 3X)

Board mounted gas detector with four-digit display for connection to 4÷20 mA sensors. The output signal of the SI in series transmitters is designed for indicating both toxic and explosive gas concentrations in the environment. This instrument offers three adjustable alarm relays and a fault relay. Power supply: 12-24 Vdc or Vac. Relays: 230 Vac 5 A SPDT. Input: 4÷20 mA. Sizes: 98 × 50 × 100 mm, recessed installation, protection class: IP40.

IP54 Wall mounted central unit (CIM 21/22)

Power supply: 230 Vac / 12 Vdc. First relay intervention: 10% LEL. Second relay intervention: 20% LEL. Input: 4÷20 mA. Relay: 230 Vac – 3 A exchange contacts normally shunt wound. Sizes: 160 × 115 × 80 mm. Protection class: IP54. Installation: onto the wall.
A LED bar indicates the gas concentration. The green LED indicates fresh air; the first red LED indicates a slight pollution condition; the second and third LED indicate two alarm thresholds associated to as many relays; the fourth red LED indicates the second latching alarm level. This instrument is also provided with a yellow LED relay for FAULT indication and a TEST button.
When the gas concentration reaches 10% LEL (illumination of the 2nd red LED), the first „ALARM 1” relay will activate. This relay is normally used as a prealarm for the controlling of a siren (model SE3001A). When the gas concentration reaches 20% LEL, the 3rd red LED will illuminate and after 30 seconds „ALARM 2” relay will activate. This relay is used for the gas cut-off by means of a solenoid valve and/or for the interruption of the electric energy. When the relay activates, the 4th red LED illuminates. Both the relay and the LED bar keep activating until the „RESET” button is pushed after removing the cause of the alarm. For safety reasons, the „RESET” button cannot operate if the sensors are still detecting gas. When a sensor fault occurs, the 3rd „FAULT” relay activates and the yellow LED illuminates.

IP44 Wall mounted central unit up to 4 sensors (CIP 21/22)

Power supply: 230 Vac / 12 Vdc. First relay intervention: 10% LEL (methane and LPG). Second relay intervention: 20% LEL (methane and LPG). Input: 4÷20 mA. Relay: 230 Vac – 3 A exchange contacts normally shunt wound. Installation: onto the wall. Protection class: IP54. Sizes: 160 × 115 × 80 mm.
CIP21 is a microprocessor driven wall-mounted gas detector. It can be connected up to 4 remote catalytic sensors for flammable gases calibrated for methane (model SI651M) or LPG (model SI 651G) rated to IP44. CIP21 is rated to IP44. CIP21 is normally 230 Vac powered, but it can also be connected either to a 12 Vdc external power (i. e. to a buffer battery unit 12 Vdc PS175 model).

Recessed mounted central unit up to 4 sensors (CIP 31/32)

Power supply: 230 Vac / 12 Vdc. First relay intervention: 10% LEL (methane and LPG), 50 ppm (CO and ammonia). Second relay intervention: 20% LEL (methane and LPG), 100 ppm (CO and ammonia). Input: 4÷20 mA. Relay: 230 Vac – 3 A SPDT exchange contacts normally shunt wound. IP44 recessed installation. Sizes: 180 × 108 × 120 mm.

Remote sensors for industrial use (SI 442)

These detectors are used for industrial applications or parking places which are connected to central units to indicate the gas concentration, using alarm and driven by gas power. For poisonous gases, such as carbon monoxide, an electrochemical cell sensor is used especially for the high selectivity. For methane, LPG and other flammable gas a catalytic or pellistor sensor can be used. Power supply: 12÷24 Vdc. Output signal: 4÷20 mA. Range: 0÷300 ppm. Accuracy: ±5%. Sizes: 110 × 75 × 75 mm, IP44.

IP65 wall mounted sensor for CO and other non-explosive gases (SI 652)

Self-extinguishing thermoplastic case housing the electronic circuit. The sensor is installed in the lower part of the case into a cylindrical container which protects it from all-direction external water jets (IP65 protection class).
Power supply: 12÷24 Vdc. Output signal: 4÷20 mA. Sizes: 180 × 80 × 67 mm. Electrochemical sensor for CO. Detected gas: CO or other. Range: 0÷300 ppm. Accuracy: ±5%.

Catalytic sensor IP65 for methane / LPG (SI 651)

Self-extinguishing thermoplastic case housing the electronic circuit. The sensor is installed in the lower part of the case into a cylindrical container which protects it from all-direction external water jets. Power supply: 12÷24 Vdc. Output signal: 4÷20 mA. Wall mounted flameproof sensor for methane and LPG (TS 293)

The TS293 series consists of a three-wire 4-20 mA linear transmitters able to detect combustion gases. The instrument is in flameproof housing with protection type II 2G Eex d II C T6, certified in accordance with the normative ATEX 94/9. The electronic circuit and the connecting terminals are mounted in the certified enclosure, while the sensor is connected to the lower part of the housing, inside of a sintered stainless steel filter. The TS293P transmitters are normally connected to Geca gas detecting central systems.

Microprocessor central system for 4-8 sensors (CITY)

Central systems model CITY represent the microprocessor version of modular central units for industrial application. Central systems model CITY have inputs for direct connection of all transmitters SI series for explosive and toxic gases and oxygen monitoring. The most important characteristic of microprocessor central systems is the possibility of freely programming on 3 levels the alarm signals connected to the output relays and even grouping them by zones. A handy and intuitive keyboard on the front panel allows a simple programming and the monitoring of all information on a large graphic display; the programmed parameters are protected by a password. The frontal indications are completed by warning lights: alarm, main power supply connection and fault. Central systems model CITY can be connected to a 12 V – 7,2 Ah buffer battery. The central system model CITY4 has the possibility to be extended from 4 to 8 inputs/outputs even on an ended installation. The extension module (ES400) contains the proper software and an RS232 output. The central systems are supplied in a stylish case for wall installation.
