| The sauna cabins
manufactured by Lagerholm Finnsauna are made using high
quality timber. The cabins are made in aromatic Finnish
spruce and the surfaces in contact with people’s skin
(benches, back supports and other inner joints) are made
in aspen, because it is smooth and cool. All Lagerholm
saunas are delivered in a way “easy to assemble” and are
packed in strong recyclable cartoons. No special tools
or skills are needed to install a sauna and you will receive
assembling instructions for each sauna. |
| Suggestions
and recommendations when planning a sauna |
| You can install the sauna in any room of your house,
i. e. from cellar to attic, preferably with easy access
to shower. The floor has to be perfectly horizontal and
covered with ceramic or plastic tiles, which are easy
to clean and waterproofed. The volume of the room in which
you intend to have your sauna has to be double of the
sauna volume and it has to be very well ventilated – for
instance through an open window. There has to be a space
of approx. 5 cm between the room walls and the sauna walls
and a space of approx. 10 cm between room ceiling and
sauna ceiling. For saunas with integrated steam system
these distances have to be larger, i. e. 10 cm and 20
cm. |
| You will also need power supply for the stove and for
the sauna light. The stove power (kW) will depend on the
sauna volume. We will indicate you the proper stove for
each sauna of our range. For safety reasons, the electrical
connections have to be carried only by an authorized electrician,
using a heat resistant cable. |

logs of Finnish spruce. Sauna is delivered with benches,
stove guard rail, ventilation holes, lampshade and a sauna

and threaded tie-rods. Separate air intake and exhaust vents.

When wanting to operate the sauna stove from
the outside of the sauna cabin, choose a stove with separate
control box, which electronically controls the internal
temperature of the sauna. |
